I put this piece in a group show called "Rinse, Lather, Repeat (as Desired). It is a piece I add to every day, and wasn't sure if I ever intended to show. I pick up one object per day en route to the studio, and add it to the ever growing, pooling daisy chain. I'm not sure if it's a sculpture or not. People seem to like it, I think it might just be another in the series of slightly sarcastic "crowd pleasers." Maybe when I finish my MFA I'll stop working on it.

There's such a weird emptiness attached to finishing a sculpture. I thought that embracing failure as a concept would encourage the whole process.
I still feel like I've done nothing to address the issues I care about, and then I start thinking about Thing Theory and wonder why I bother with objects at all. However, if we all start thinking like that, then who will make the art?
